This game is belgian/french, and not configured for a QWERTY keyboard. So you'll need to change the key directly in the game (options --> controls).

The story takes place in our time, in 2021, in a small village shaken by disappearances. You're Deborah, an hopeless mother searching for her child. Your only clue ; all victims have disappeared near the old mansion, abandoned for one hundred years, not far away from the neighborhood.

Once inside the mansion, reality blends to weird ; the entrance door is locked and you find yourself lost in the meanders of the corridors of this mysterious manor which seeks one thing ; prevents you from getting out of there alive and discover the key of this tragic story...

Will you be able to survive the nightmares that haunt this place ?

ABOUT THE DEBUG MENU - This debug menu was created for our exam, to help the teachers and the jury. It's a kind of "cheat code" and a bonus if you are stuck at any point at the game, this can help you so, feel free to use it if you need it !

You can go to this menu by going to the pause menu (escape key).

Hello,

Our game/demo is mostly based on exploration. To progress, you will have to go through a series of rooms, some containing puzzles, others monsters. Those ones also hide a piece of a key. This key, once reformed, can open the front door and lead you to the final puzzle which will end the game.

We are well aware that this gameplay can get quite long, so to help you on your journey, we have set up a debug menu allowing you to teleport to whatever room you want. The content of each room is also written, so you can choose to go only in the rooms with puzzles, monsters, ect...

You can also directly go to the Boss room, which is the room with the final puzzle.

Thank you for taking some of you time to play our game, We hope you will enjoy it !

Wow, loved it!! Beautiful and fun game!

Thank you very much ! We are happy you loved it ! ;D

Very cool for a school project, i just wish instead of voice acting there was just text, that would have been better for immersion, but nevertheless it's great to explore the mansion. Thank you for making this!

Hi ! Thank you for your review, we understand that you could prefer just text instead of voice acting, I think personnally that it can be a nice thing for certain games :) Happy that you appreciate the exploration !

Hi, your game is so cool! I'm a video game student like you but in audio.

I got the impression that you don't have a sound designer. If that's the case I would be interested in working with you, to improve your great game!

Hi ! Thank you, we're happy you like our game :)

It's true that we didn't have a "real" sound designer, we did it by our own with the recording studio of the school and some random stuff (like a can of tuna fish for the sounds of the slug...eeewww).

However, we're not going to work again on Disorihaunted for the moment, this is just a short school project for our exams. But maybe one day we will continue this game to deepen it, we don't know :)

I understand, if you continue this game or create a new one. Don't be afraid to send me an email! (theombsound@gmail.com)

The game's fairly solid and I like how each door potentially takes you to another area of the map. Though I wish there was an on screen tutorial on what key does what. But that's just a minor gripe. Nice job.

Hi, thank you, that's so cool you enjoyed playing Disorihaunted ! We've seen your video and that's super fun to see people play our game :)

That was an amazing game, I am surprised that this is not a full release. It would take a little polish to truly get it to that point, and maybe a little more gameplay. I loved the way you stepped through doors into other rooms, it felt so strange watching the gateway change based on the players approach. The enemies feel unique, not only in model, but munchkin demon rats were a complete surprise, especially how annoying it is to deal with such creatures.

The only problem I had in the game, is that when I had to position items based on their location in the photograph, I was unable to place one of the items down. I had to restart the game in order to continue, this only happened once while playing.

Can’t wait to see what games you make in the future.

Thank you for playing our game, we really appreciate every feedback and that you love Disorihaunted, that's super cool, caring and really help us for next !!

I would also appreciate if you could give an opinion on our latest game. Game devs advice is precious because we know better what it takes to make something work. It's called "Backdoor Shifts"
